These assignments have spanned a continuum from publicly traded entities with thousands of employees to family businesses operating through virtual employees. They include work-out situations, non-profits and leveraged buy-outs. Mr. Schmeltzle has been involved in raising over $1 billion of capital including initial public offerings, private debt placements, venture capital funding and senior and subordinated bank debt. He was the Treasurer and Controller of the first successful leverage buy-out in life insurance history. Mr. Schmeltzle is a member of the American Institutes of CPAs, the Pennsylvania Institutes of CPAs and the Financial Executives Networking Group. He had been a frequent speaker, author and instructor for numerous professional associations and non-profit groups.
