Many people have taken precautions to keep their email accounts free from spam, but there are also those who subscribe to different sites on the internet that keep them up-to-date with what is going on. This is because they may have an internet business, so they will want to keep up with what others are doing so that they will remain competitive in the market that they have chosen.


In order to get customers and to retain them takes a few important things, but the number one is to have your customers trust you. When you have gained someone’s trust, more than likely you will keep them as a customer, and they will recommend you to their friends and family. In order to keep them trusting in you, do not give their information out to others. If they are being spammed by someone you gave their information to, it is possible that they will not trust you anymore and will unsubscribe to your list and your business altogether.


You must have your own Opt-in mailing list. This is a list of people who have subscribed to receiving your catalogs and newsletters via electronic transmission or through postal mail. Your potential customers are able to see what you are marketing, which will make it a success for you, but you will need permission from email recipients to be able to receive your mailings without being spammed. This in turn will get them to trust you.


When you are building your opt-in list, you will want to include people on your list who respect and trust you. The faster you can get the subscribers to trust in you, the bigger and better your list will become, and the more traffic and profit you will get.


But is getting the numbers really that easy?

• When you are trying to gain the trust of your clientele, it should not be very hard for you to do. If you are running a legitimate business and are treating your clients with the utmost respect, then it won’t be very long before they will begin to trust in you and what you are marketing. When people believe you know what you are talking about and you are giving them information that they can use, this will help to generate more traffic and profits to your site. They know that you are trustworthy and are not afraid to recommend you to others.

• Provide your audience with information that is useful to them. Your article should always coincide with whatever it is that you are trying to sell. If you are selling hardware, then write an article on how to install a door or shelving that you are selling. People like when you give them information that will help them to do something that they have no knowledge about.

• Let your customers know that you are not there to take advantage of them, but that you are trying to help them. Make your site easy for the audience to maneuver through, just in case they might want to unsubscribe at any time. If someone has to go to a lot of trouble to do something, they will lose interest quickly and their impression of you will not be good. They will not be as ready to recommend you to others.


• When you are trying to get your customers to trust you, do everything you can to ensure that you do not lose that trust. Remember that clients do not like being spammed. Do not give out their email addresses. This is the quickest way to lose your clientele and potential clients. The more your clients trust you, the more they will recommend you to others, which bring bigger profit to you.

These are the simple rules most internet marketers fail in. It is paramount for you & for your business to abide by these rules, and before you know it, you’ll have a thriving business & loyal customer following.
